NaBloPoMo? What? Did I sign up for that? Your kidding right?
Ok, so I suck at posting every day for a month. So what? Real life got busy. I am doing a new job at work and had to learn my new position while teaching my old position at the same time. Then to top off all that we are getting a new computer system and are having some computer down time. This meant that I had to be completely on top of all work. A little hard when you are training or being trained. Today was the last day at my old position so I'm glad to leave that part behind, hopefully all will go smoothly with the new one!
Here are some Friday Fill-Ins to make up for my previously lack of posting....
1. Wait! Wait, don't forget to bring your passport if you are one of the lucky/crazy ones going shopping in the states this weekend!
2. My promotion at work followed at once by more stress.
3. The trouble is hopefully far from me.
4. Italy (my dream vacation) is many miles away.
5. With a faint pop the Christmas lights burnt out.
6. Sunday through Thursday has been shadowy and ominous. (and just down right rainy!)
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to doing nothing (maybe watch a movie and knit at home), tomorrow my plans include spending time with my Little Sister and Sunday, I want to visit with my sister and nephew!

1. Plans and schedules tend to change often .

Friday Fill-Ins # 113
1. I'm older than I once was, I'm younger than I will someday be, I think I have an age complex.
2. Why do I have a spare bedroom and not a person who lives in it?
3. How does this temp agency thing work, anyway?
4. Every morning, I put hot air on my hair. (With a blow dryer of course!)
5. I consider myself lucky because I have a wonderful, caring family.
6. One day we’ll see space travel accessable to everyone. (or so my father seems to think)
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finishing Eclispe and starting Breaking Dawn, tomorrow my plans include visiting mom as she babysits my nephew and Sunday, I want to keep reading Breaking Dawn.

Friday Fill-Ins #109
1. I'd really like to get rid of this cold right now.

4. There are 3 movies about Captain Jack Sparrow. (although I've only seen 1)
5. Marshmallows and fire go together like tents and sleeping bags.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching The Ghost Whispers, tomorrow my plans include seeing my roommate move out and Sunday, I want to go to church!

Friday Fill-Ins # 102
1. Friends are the best support system.
2. Good health; it's taken for granted.
3. I'm ready for Christmas.
4. Whatever the guy from my old office used to wear is one of my favorite perfumes or aftershaves or smells.
5. The oldest ornament I have is not that old....my parents on the other hand have some from the 50s or earlier.
6. Take some aunts, uncles, cousins, and food mix it all together and you have a family Christmas gathering.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing in from of the TV (Ghost Whisperer) with my knitting, tomorrow my plans include heading to J & K's and Sunday, I want to watch Anne of Green Gables - A New Beginning on TV!

2. Either chips or hamburger is what I ate the most of on Thursday.

Friday Fill-Ins # 99
1. The last band I saw live was Bon Jovi. (and they were awesome!!!)
2. What I look forward to most on Thanksgiving is stuffing. (and I had some in October for Canadian Thanksgiving)
3. My Christmas/holiday shopping is about 1/3 of the way done.
4. Thoughts of warmer weather fill my head.
5. I wish I could wear sandles (but it's way too cold).
6. Bagpipes are so very Scotish.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to woman's tea with L, tomorrow my plans include a movie with A and a potluck dinner and Sunday, I want to relax!

4. Love is something I can't get enough of.

Friday Fill-Ins # 92
1. October is here with in all its raining glory.
2. Pythons and tarantulas scare me!
3. Leaves are falling all around, it's making me want to go on a walk and crunch them.
4. My favorite horror movie is none because I don't watch horror movies.
5. Summer and good friends = good memories.
6. It was a dark and stormy night and the power went out while I was watching the scariest CSI episode ever! (the one where Nick is buried underground!)
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing at home, tomorrow my plans include a birthday get together for me at mom and dad's and Sunday, I want to have tea at Steeps with Monica!

Friday Fill-Ins # 91
1. My birthday and Thanksgiving are some of the things I'm most looking forward to in October.
2. Sometimes I like to go for a walk in the rain.
3. Miracles happen and that's why there is a saying, "never say never"!
4. When I'm down, I tend to spend alot of time in bed.
On the flip side: "When I'm up, I can't get down, can't get down, can't get level...." I love me some Great Big Sea!
5. Sitting on the couch watching TV or reading book is where you'll find me most often.
6. A rainy day is good for reading a good book with a mug of hot chocolate.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to seeing Nights in Rodanthe with the girls, tomorrow my plans include relaxing, and some cleaning too I guess! and Sunday, I want to go back and visit Fraserview church!

Friday Fill-Ins # 87 and a small catch up
1. When I'm sick I become a big baby.
2. When I take a walk, I think about what good exercise it is and how I should walk more often.
3. Money can't buy happiness but it can make me happy for a day.
4. Cotton makes me want to knit a dishcloth and leather makes me want a leather jacket.
5. The strangest person/character I've had lewd thoughts about was ?.
6. My favorite color these days is blue because it's purdy.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to buying E & J wedding present, tomorrow my plans include E & J wedding and Sunday, I want to take a ferry to Nanimo, and the holiday Monday I'm coming back to Richmond for the B family's farewell.
Sorry for the lack of blogging lately. I just haven't felt much like typing. I've finished "The Yada Yada Prayer Group" book 2 (review to come). I've started a new book. I've made good progress on the socks, and I'm working on some fingerless mitts.

1. Dancing to the music while fully clothed makes me happy.
2. The last time I went to Walmart I nearly bought a $9 pair of shoes.
3. When I drive I listen to the radio (always).
4. I saw you standing over there.
5. Give me a good book, give me a warm blanket, give me time to read. (and I'll be happy!)
6. Next week I am looking forward to the labour day long weekend.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to meeting with my SCC knitting group at the organizer's house, tomorrow my plans include reading and knitting, ....along with housework and Sunday, I want to hopefully sit in the sun (sun please help me out with this)!

Friday Fill-Ins # 85
1. The last meal I had at a restaurant was a chicken ranch wrap at Red Robins.
2. Pea soup is something I intensely dislike.
3. The full moon is something that should be wished upon.
4. Eh! is one of my favorite local expressions.
5. Sometimes it's best to eat fresh fruit. (I picked some blackberries today, yum!)
6. Mamma Mia is the best movie I've seen so far this year! (Or aleast the most recent good one.)
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to relaxing, tomorrow my plans include going to the lake and Sunday, I want to not melt in the heat!

3. Island Farms Bear Claw Ice-Cream is what I need RIGHT NOW!
4. I have felt the wind blow, I have known the depths of the Horne Lake caves. (well, partial depths anyway.)
5. Gah, won't these people watch the Olymipcs.
6. Go see Mamma Mia! as soon as you can!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to going to see Mamma Mia!, tomorrow my plans include housework, reading, and knitting and Sunday, I want to go to A's house and celebrate mom's birthday!

4. Something is out there, it's a bird, no it's a plane, no it's *Superman*!
5. If my life were a sitcom, it would be titled Livin' the Single Life.
6. Sitting on my back porch I see trees, and other apartments.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to seeing L, tomorrow my plans include helping L&K move and Sunday, I want to visit L&K's church!
I've off to Mayne Island for the week, so I'll be incommunicato (aka out of communication) for the week.

Friday Fill-Ins# 76
1. Birthdays are a day to feel special.
2. Summer is my favorite season because it's warm and sunny.
3. I feel my best when I'm wearing new clothes.
4. Chocolate is my favorite food!
5. First impressions are are only made once.
6. The best piece of advice I ever received was you can do anything you put your mind to. 7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to going to Mayne Island, tomorrow my plans include holding and playing with baby J (on Mayne Island) and Sunday, I want to spend time in the sun (on Mayne Island)!
It's a long weekend here (sort of). Canada Day is on Tuesday and its statutory holiday. I've taken Monday off of work and I'm spending the entire 4 days with my family on Mayne Island. My parent's friends have a cabin there that they rent really cheap. (ie: $25.00 per night) I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I'm especially looking forward to spending lots of time with baby J who has just learnt how to smile! Another great thing is that it's supposed to be sunny and warm all weekend. I hope you all have a great weekend!
