Friday Fave Five

"A place to think back over your week and just post 5 favorite things from your week. It can be anything that tickled your fancy over the week. Favorite quotes, posts, happenings, scriptures, recipes, etc., etc. Just make your own post, be as detailed as you like, linking to Living to Tell the Story and then add yourself to the Mr. Linky."

1) Getting a hug from C. She is my friend's 1 year old daughter. I have seen her plenty but last weekend I spent a full day and half with her and near the end of the day she gave me a hug. When is the last time you got a hug from a 1 year old? It's the best thing ever!

2) The "new" computer I got from my sister and brother-in-law, and how its much smarter that my old one. They got a new laptop and gave me their old desktop. Pretty nice huh? My old one had this: 299 MHz, 256 MB of RAM, and the new one has this: 3.00 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM. I don't know much about computers but I think that's a great improvement. It's much faster as I surf the net anyway. I can even have more than one page open at a time now!

3) My brother comes home from Europe on Sunday. I can't wait to hear what he saw/liked/hated/tasted.

4) Labour Day Long Weekend! Yea! That means a 4 days work week and I love that!

5) I'm stealing this from Tameka's blog but it's important and bares repeating: I am a child of the Most High & I Am Blessed!

I loved reading your favorite things from your week! Thanks for joining in. One year old hugs are the best. How sweet when it's so spontaneous. You'll have to post on some of that stuff your brother experienced. I'd love to go to Europe!

Hi Julia! I found you through Susanne's fave five. Baby hugs are always wonderful. Surfed your archives and saw you knit dish cloths, I love those. My mom taught me to knit them so I would stop taking hers. Have a great week and thanks for sharing you fave 5.

Hi Julia,
Thank for stopping by my blog and commenting.

Yes, I do knit bunnies and sweaters and dish cloths and socks and afghans and ....

I get daily hugs from my 7 mo old grandson. Those are pretty special hugs!

Have you been to Europe? You can use his experiences to plan your own trip.

Hi Julia! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I do still knit the dish cloths, I have made a few scarves, but they aren't very practical with our weather. I knit the dish cloths while I watch tv, keeps me from snacking.
Have you seen the Sugar'n Cream self striping yarn? I'm having fun with that, it comes in pink.
